About Heidi

I’m a product designer based in Colorado with a non-traditional background in healthcare.

Before UX, there was occupational therapy, where I got to build up my empathy muscles helping solve people's problems in the physical space. I was most excited when I got to show clients new accessibility features or use eye-gaze devices.

I believe technology has an exponential potential to create good in the world and UX design allows me to be a part of this. UX design has allowed me to combine all my favorites: problem-solving, systematic thinking, creativity, and understanding human behavior.
